The Loara Band Boosters provide financial support for the Loara High School Band, Color Guard and Drum line, including instructional staff, equipment, and travel expenses to regional and national competitions.
The Loara Band Boosters were incorporated to promote the activities of the Loara High School Band Family. We lend all financial, moral, organizational, logistical and personnel support to advance the education of the youth enrolled in the musical performing arts program at Loara High School. Our program promotes and encourages musical excellence, teamwork and cooperation in an environment of mutual respect and dignity. Our support, supplementing the basic musical education provided by tax dollars, allows our students to compete in parade reviews, field tournaments, dance team, color guard and percussion ensemble competitions. Our fundraising pays for instructors, transportation, equipment, costumes and infrastructure not otherwise provided by the public school system.
Booster Meetings are generally held the first Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the Band Room. Check our Calendar section each month for details.
